I develop in Java and in Ruby. My profile photo is of the Legend phone switch, which I used to program in my days at Lucent (now Avaya). Other former employers include the California Digital Library (University of California) and Oxygen.com. It makes me happy how much better the code is when written in pairs and test-driven.
